China Abrasive Materials Weekly Price (1-7 NOV): Price rise in the raw material alumina suspended
Views:834      Time:2021-11-08

1. White Fused Alumina

This week, the operating rate of white corundum smelting enterprises in Chiping area of Liaocheng City, Shandong increased slightly, and the market supply increased. In addition, the recent rise in the raw material alumina has been suspended, and the price has also declined slightly, and its support for the price of white corundum has also weakened. It is expected that in the coming week, the price of white fused alumina may stop rising, and will adjust with the changes in market supply and demand.

2. Brown Fused Alumina

This week, the power limit situation in various parts of China, such as Guizhou, Dengfeng, Henan has improved. As a result, the tight market supply has eased slightly. It is expected that the price of brown fused alumina may fall in the next week.

3. Black Silicon Carbide

This week, the price of black silicon carbide is still chaotic, but some companies are eager to withdraw funds to make profit sales, which has partially reduced the price of black silicon carbide. In addition, some silicon carbide manufacturers in Tianzhu area have resumed production in early November. Influenced by factors such as the fall in coal prices, it is expected that in the coming week, black silicon carbide prices are expected to gradually return to rationality.

4. Green Silicon Carbide

This week, due to the increase in production costs and the rebound in market demand, most of the green silicon carbide manufacturers in China continue to increase the prices. As the current companies generally do not have inventory pressure, their willingness to increase prices is relatively firm. At the same time, most downstream abrasives companies straddled on the price increase. It is expected that the price of green silicon carbide may remain firm in the coming week.
